The first time I arrived in Spain, my friend’s parents treated me to churros con chocolate in a small café in their town. I remember having trouble overcoming the shock of being encouraged to have chocolate for breakfast.
Churros are a type of fried dough. They are traditionally served with a very thick, rich hot chocolate.
