¡Hoy es martes meditativo!     (Today is meditative Tuesday!)

La fecha es el diecinueve (19) de agosto del año dos mil veinticinco. (The date is August 19, 2025.)

El dicho de la semana es:

Una golondrina no hace verano.

(The saying of the week is:     One sparrow does not make it summer.)

This Guatemalan proverb alludes to the migratory sparrow that returns in spring. Just as seeing just one sparrow does not mean that summer has come definitely, just one case or clue is not enough to make a general rule or draw conclusions.

Practice saying this proverb when you observe someone drawing premature conclusions.
