Ciudad, república, provincia, departamento, and estado are some divisions used to distinguish different places in Spanish-speaking countries. To practice reading and preparing for travel in Spanish-speaking countries, we will learn the names of places that begin with Z.

1 (uno) – Zarumilla, Perú

2 (dos) – Zaruma, Ecuador

3 (tres) – Zipacón, Colombia

4 (cuatro) – Zuata, Venezuela

5 (cinco) – Zapotal, Costa Rica

6 (seis) – Zelaya, Nicaragua

7 (siete) – Zuzuma, Honduras

8 (ocho) – Zoyapanco, El Salvador

9 (nueve) – Zapotitlán, Guatemala

10 (diez) – Zihuatanejo, México
