Ciudad, república, provincia, departamento, and estado are some divisions used to distinguish different places in Spanish-speaking countries. To practice reading and preparing for travel in Spanish-speaking countries, we will learn the names of places that start with J.

2 (dos) – Jarabacoa, República Dominicana

3 (tres) – Jatibonico, Cuba

4 (cuatro) – Juárez, México

5 (cinco) – Jocotenango, Guatemala

6 (seis) – Juayúa, El Salvador

7 (siete) – Juticalpa, Honduras

8 (ocho) – Jinotega, Nicaragua

9 (nueve) – Jaco, Costa Rica

10 (diez) – Jaqué, Panamá
