El Encarguito (The Small Order) is a timeless song by Honduran legend Guillermo Anderson. Anyone with relatives living abroad can relate to sending packages with items from “back home.”

“Ya que escribiste del norte y te hacen falta muchas cosas, ahí te mando un encarguito cortesía de Doña Rosa” (Since you wrote from the north and you need a lot of things, I’m sending you a small order, courtesy of Ms. Rosa).

“Ojalá pasen la aduana y las compartas con mis tíos y que al probarlas se olviden por un ratito del frío” (I hope they get through customs and you share them with my uncles and when you taste them, you’ll forget about the cold for a little while).
