¡Viva viernes!     (Long live Friday! In other words, TGIF!)

Let’s add some Carnaval flavor to this week with Willie Colón and Héctor Lavoe’s Panamanian classic, La Murga. Murga is a type of music theater performed during Carnaval in Argentina, Panama, Spain, and Uruguay.

“Vamos a bailar la murga, la murga de Panamá” (Let’s dance the murga, the murga of Panama). 

“Esto es una cosa fácil y muy buena pa’bailar” (This is an easy thing and very good for dancing).

¡Bailemos y cantemos! (Let’s dance and sing!) You can sing along to la letra (the lyrics).
