¡Hoy es martes meditativo!     (Today is meditative Tuesday!)

La fecha es el veinte (20) de septiembre del año dos mil veintidós. (The date is September 20, 2022.)

El dicho de la semana es:  

El amor está en la olla.

(The saying of the week is:     Love is in the pot.)

Olla refers to a “pot” or “pan.” As a wife and mother with the responsibility of cooking for my family, this Paraguayan proverb hits close to home. Not only do I wish that my family gets the physical nourishment they need from the food I prepare but also I really hope that they enjoy it and appreciate the labor, effort, and love put into the preparation.

Practice saying this proverb whenever you prepare a meal for someone else.
