Let’s wrap up our week with some cumbia from Nicaraguan singer Mario Sacasa. Oye Pinolera (Hey Nicaraguan Girl) is an upbeat song addressing a pinolera, another term for a Nicaraguan female (in addition to nicaragüense, which is used for both genders). The singer tells the pinolera that he’s buscando respuestas, looking for answers. He repeatedly tells her “quiero saber” (I want to know).
